I didn't know I had these skills...the ability to see spirits playing in the fire.   

Then one magical night, it all became clear.  Taking pictures of our blaze, I could see all manner of spirits and glean the stories they had to tell.  From one picture to the next, the characters changed along with their tales. I was indeed "The Fire Shaman", interpreter of the spirits of the flame. 

I was so inspired that night. What I saw provided a collection of ideas that led to the music of "Chronicles...", especially "The Fire Shaman Suite".   

Thanks to my lovely wife for recording all of my "wisdom" that night ha ha.  An altered state indeed! 

Where these tales lead next is a mystery to me.  But it will be a journey I relish and hope you come along for the ride.
